Overview
TotalSeller processes information to provide and support the TotalSeller HUB, its public API, integrations, and website. Depending on the relationship and applicable law, TotalSeller may act as a data controller or as a processor acting on a customer's instructions.
Data we may process
The information processed depends on how the services are used and may include:
- business and account details, such as company name, contact details, and authorized users;
- seller, product, catalog, listing, price, inventory, order, buyer or customer, delivery, and integration data, when applicable;
- API and technical data, such as identifiers, request metadata, event records, logs, device or browser information, and IP address;
- communications sent to commercial, support, security, or privacy contacts.
Customers and integrators must only submit data they are authorized to process and should avoid sending information that is unnecessary for the service.
Purposes of processing
We may process information to provide and operate integrations, synchronize marketplace activity, authenticate requests, support users, maintain traceability, detect abuse, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and protect TotalSeller, customers, users, and third parties.
Seller, product, order, and integration data
The TotalSeller HUB may process operational marketplace data on behalf of customers, including data required to connect ERPs, seller accounts, products, listings, inventory, prices, orders, buyer or customer details when applicable, and shipping events. Such data is used to perform the requested integration and related support and security activities.
No sale or external advertising
We do not sell personal or operational customer data. We do not use seller, product, order, buyer, or integration data for third-party advertising.
Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Measures are described at a high level in our Information Security Policy. No online service can eliminate all security risk.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, meet contractual and legal requirements, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data category and customer instructions. Information may be deleted, anonymized, or securely retained when deletion is not immediately possible or is legally restricted.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law and our role in the processing, individuals may have rights to request confirmation, access, correction, deletion, portability, information about sharing, or review of certain processing. Requests may require identity verification. When TotalSeller acts on behalf of a customer, requests may need to be directed to that customer.
International processing
Service providers may process information in locations other than the place where it was collected. Where required, reasonable safeguards are used for applicable cross-border transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the services, practices, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
